Program Design A stand alone campus in a Dallas industrial area, Williams provides instruction through an eight period day. Because of the structure of the academy, older students have the opportunity to mentor and serve as role models to the younger students on campus. Curriculum and Instruction Courses for the high school students include higher level curriculum like AP Physics and Calculus. Students are exposed to integrated teaching practices through the use of integrated humanities and integrate math/science/technology at the 6th and 7th grade levels. Infinity Project provides the curriculum for the engineering program used at Williams Prep. A strong partnership with UT Southwestern provides summer research and internship opportunities for students. Student Supports Williams Prep utilizes a Choice management System to instill positive school behavior and culture. This management system allows teachers to give and take points, thus determining eligibility for end of year college trips. A morning advisory meeting can function as small or large group meeting time and opportunities for independent reading. Through a summer culture camp students prepare for not only the school culture but also for the academic rigor at Williams Prep. Student enrichment is provided in the form of robotics, athletics, and various additional after school clubs. Academic support is provided through periodic benchmarks to determine the need for participation in academic tutoring. Students and teachers also use objective-tracking to identify areas needing additional support. Successes, Awards, and Accomplishments

Uplift Education was formed in 1996 to operate one of the oldest and most academically successful public charter schools in Texas. The North Hills School in Irving became the first public charter school organization to achieve an investment grade credit rating from Moody's and to sell tax exempt bonds. Uplift adapted its successful program at North Hills to address truly underserved communities. Uplift is dedicated to operating schools that provide a quality education by raising and continually maintaining high expectations for our students and staff. Uplift’s high standards are reflected in the high status accorded its operations by the Texas Education Agency for ten consecutive years.
